Hello, I just decided to try a return to D3 to see all the cool new things that have changed since I stopped a few months after the initial release. I am having a really frustrating time with starting the game up because when i open the launcher it says the game is up to date, and when i enter the game it says a patch is required and exits back to the launcher. Is there any way to fix this. I did a google search for answers and tried changing the patch url in the agent.db in the diablo 3 folder to like it said and deleting my agent folder in the battle.net folder and still no fix. Is it possible I am only having this issue because the servers are down for maintenance. when the client starts up in the bottom left it says the version is at 1.0.8.16603 Is this the current version.

edit: well, in spite of the fact that it was a completely fresh install on a pristine hard drive never before touched by a blizzard product, somehow it got messed up during the installation. I completely wiped out diablo 3 and all blizzard files it added and reinstalled from the same launcher download thing that made the first install and now its working. oh well.
